Papermation engages the whole family in varied production roles. Dave and Don introduce the roles of screenwriter, director, producer, prop artist, puppet manipulator which play to each participant’s strength and give each a valuable way to contribute. Very young children can be great at providing sound effects or clicking the capture button on cue to applause from the rest of the “production team.” Sharing these diverse roles in a supportive environment makes the experience accessible for all ages and models the respect for all levels of participation that is essential to collaborative work throughout our lives.

With consideration of the added time spent on preparation and post editing The Schmutz Company charges $500 per hour of Papermation Workshop. The minimum length of Papermation Workshop is 2 scheduled hours.
Papermation Plus
The Schmutz Company is happy to provide other artists to accompany the Papermation workshop. For example we can provide a flip-book station, a puppet-making station or other guided arts immersion stations.
